SUMMARY:Piper Memorial Adult Swiss
DESCRIPTION:This is the 3rd annual memorial tournament honoring former SCC President August Piper (1944-2024). It is held in conjunction with the WA Class Championships.\n\nFormat: 4-round Swiss in 2 sections: Botvinnik (Open) & Korchnoi (U1500). [may be merged depending on entries]\n\nTime control: Game/120 + 30sec increment.\n\nRounds: Saturday 12:30pm & 6pm. Sunday 11am & 4:30pm. [The late start on Saturday is responding to concerns about commotion caused by earlier start of the main tournament.
