WCF chess league starting soon – 6/16/24

The Washington Chess Federation is starting a chess league in the Puget Sound area for all types of chess clubs: community clubs (like Seattle Chess Club), corporate clubs (like the Microsoft Chess Club) and college clubs (like the UW Chess Club). There are 3 categories: Long (TC: Game/90 + 30sec. increment), Rapid (TC: Game/15 + 2) and Blitz (TC: Game/3 + 2). Games are USCF rated and NW Chess rated. View the flyer here to see the schedules and link to the full set of rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18Eo6x4HMoqaHxG4MNiIDe6Ruz3r2QQha_ZvP6fhG-6Y/

The Seattle Chess Club is the largest community club in the region. We would like to field a team in each category. There is no charge; SCC will pay the team entry fees. This is an opportunity to play against chess players you may not normally encounter. Contact John Selsky at [email protected] to sign up for a team or to ask questions. Play for Team SCC!!
